About – Join me for these introductory speaking voice workshops (2 dates to choose from), to show you how to get the most from your speaking voice. This is unlike any other workshop you might have been to on public speaking – as the focus is on the function of your voice and exploring your optimal speaking voice – what it means and how to find it. This is the voice where you can speak for hours, effortlessly, powerfully and expressively.
I will be discussing common voice issues from vocal fatigue to quiet, weak voices that struggle to project and why that’s the case. We’ll look at some warm up exercises for speakers and I will work with you individually to start to help you uncover the best and most reliable version of your voice.
Who is this for? – This workshop can really help anyone, as in some way we all use our voice everyday. However if you use your voice a lot perhaps as a trainer, teacher, performer or are on the phone all day to clients, this workshop can be particularly helpful to you.
This is a small group, highly interactive workshop (max. 10 people), as I will be coaching people in front of the group to allow you to experience these ideas for yourself. From previous workshops, people learn so much from watching others being coached. Come prepared to speak!
If you have any concerns or questions (to determine if this is right for you), please get in touch and I’ll gladly have a chat with you.
